Frequently asked questions
This depends on the vehicle type, operating conditions, and driving style. Real-world tests show fuel consumption savings between 8% and 20%. For a truck with average fuel consumption, savings can quickly exceed €5,000 per year; for ships, this can reach hundreds of thousands of euros per year.
Yes. The FCR is installed upstream of the engine, in the fuel supply line, so the high injection pressure of common-rail systems does not affect the FCR's operation.
Yes, the FCR is also suitable for engines using AdBlue. Thanks to more efficient combustion, AdBlue consumption also decreases, by as much as 30–50%.
This varies by vehicle and application. For trucks, the payback period is typically around 2 years; for ships, it is often less than 1 year due to higher fuel consumption.
The price depends on the vehicle and engine type, as we work with different models for different fuel supply systems. Contact us for a tailored quote.
No. Dekra certification confirms that the FCR is completely harmless to the engine and other vehicle components. In addition, installation takes place in the fuel supply line upstream of the engine, so nothing is modified on the engine itself. Should it nonetheless be demonstrated that damage was caused by the FCR, this will be compensated.
No, the FCR is completely maintenance-free.
The FCR works on almost all combustion engines — from cars, trucks, and buses to construction and agricultural machinery and marine engines. Fuelteq is therefore broadly applicable.
